Seperti halnya ketika menyaksikan Habibie dan Ainun, Soegija, juga Sang Kyai, saya melepaskan pandangan politik menyaksikan Jokowi. Maksudnya
agar bisa menikmati film yang disutradarai oleh Anzhar Kinoi Lubis
sekaligus juga mendapatkan “sesuatu” yang biasa dibawa pulang, selain
hiburan. Sekalipun berbeda dengan ketiga film di atas, harus diakui Jokowi punya magnitut karena dia adalah figur Gubernur DKI Jakarta yang sedang menjabat, bukan seperti Habibie sudah lepas dari kekuasaan politik.
Hasilnya, separuh film ini yang menceritakan bagian Jokowi masa kecil merupakan bagian yang paling menarik. Sutradara cukup detail, misalnya dalam menggambarkan situasi Surakarta pada 1961. Adegan pembukaan ketika Notomiharjo (Susilo Badar) tergesa-gesa menaiki sepeda onthelnya, dengan termos air masa itu berwrana merah (buatan RRC) melintasi pasar bersamaan dengan penggusuran pamong praja terhadap pedagang kaki lima. Notomihardjo sendiri sempat hendak ditangkap, padahal istrinya hendak melahirkan. Anak yang dilahirkan itu bernama Joko Widodo.
Notomiharjo adalah seorang tukang kayu yang pontang-panting menghidupi keluarganya. Dia
sempat diusir dari rumah karena tidak sanggup bayar kontrakan rumah.
Akhirnya dia ditolong oleh seorang warga yang iba melihatnya makan
semangkuk soto berdua dengan istrinya sambil membawa bayi. Mereka
tinggal di rumah milik Suroso sampai umur Jokowi 4 tahun. Di sini ada adegan menarik dialog antara Jokowi dengan kakeknya melalui wayang orang tentang figur Semar. “Jadi pejabat itu tidak perlu mentereng”, terang kakeknya. Straight point menanamkan nilai pada Jokowi.
Peristiwa 30 September 1965 digambarkan
dengan mencekam di Surakarta, orang-orang digiring bagaikan ternak
karena dituduh PKI termasuk Suroso yang menolong keluarga ini. Khawatir terlibat Notomiharjo sekali lagi membawa keluarga minggat. Padahal Notomihardjo sudah punya anak kedua. Adegan pindah ke 1973 ketika keluarga Notomiharjo tinggal di ruamh kontrakan yang pemiliknya penganut agama Katolik.

ditanamkan nilai-nilai, seperti menghargai perbedaan, menolak disuap
oleh kawan sepengajiannya agar tidak diadukan kabur waktu belajar.

Saya tidak terlalu tertarik dengan kisah sesudah periode kuliah. Kecuali, adegan
sang ayah menyerahkan tabungan untuk menebus jam tangannya mengingatkan
saya pada adegan ayah yang menjual mobilnya agar anaknya kuliah dalam 9 Summers 10 Autumns. Juga kisah asmara Jokowi dan Iriana
anak orang kaya menerima Jokowi apa adanya wajar masa itu banyak film
Indonesia 1970-an, ketika achievement lebih diperhatikan para gadis
dalam memilih pasangannya dari pada status orang tua. Jelas Iriana memilih pemuda yang jujur, anak kuliahan yang punya otak cemerlang. Selanjutnya biasa saja.
Teuku Rifnu Wikana bermain cukup apik menirukan cara bicara dan tertawa Jokowi, gestur tubuhnya walaupun tidak sekuat Reza Rahadian yang rohnya seperti kemasukkan Habibie. Prisia Nasution memang sudah biasa memainkan kharakter perempuan Jawa. Kharakter ini sudah dialami perempuan yang akrib dipanggil Pia itu dalam Sang Penari dan beberapa judul FTV. Yang paling luar biasa adalah akting Susilo Badar benar-benar total menjiwai seorang tukang kayu, orang Jawa Solo kalangan bawah dengan pemikiran rata-rata orang sezaman, keras hati pada prinsipnya dan bukan hanya gestur tubuh.
Yang patut jadi catatan ialah poster film ini agak serupa dengan Habibie dan Ainun. Kurang kreatif dan orisinil. Catatan
lain kayaknya ada satu periode yang dilewatkan, yaitu ketika Jokowi
memimpin kota Solo. Tahu-tahu melompat lewat adegan berita televisi
ketika Jokowi dilantik menjadi Gubernur DKI Jakarta. Tanggung sekali. Jokowi masih di bawah Habibie dan Ainun, namun tentunya masih di atas rata-rata film Indonesia 2013.
